Itinerary/Details

Day 1 - Anchorage

Welcome to Alaska! Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in downtown Anchorage. After settling in, you may opt to experience the museums, restaurants and attractions of Alaska's largest city.

 

Day 2 - Anchorage/Girdwood

Travel to the Alyeska Resort for your overnight. Nestled at the base of the Chugach Mountain Range, pamper yourself with exciting winter activities including world-class downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and snow shoeing. Or perhaps take in other optional activities in the area such as snow machining or flightseeing (weather permitting).  Overnight at The Hotel Alyeska.

 

Day 3 - Girdwood

Today is free to enjoy the wonder of winter! Hit the slopes - a lift ticket is included with your stay. Overnight at The Hotel Alyeska.

 

Day 4 - Girdwood/Seward

Travel along the scenic Turnagain Arm to the coastal community of Seward today. We suggest an optional stop at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center en route. Overnight in Seward.

 

Day 5 - Seward

Begin your day with a winter sled dog ride at the Seavey family kennels who are well-known as top finishers of the world-famous Iditarod. Overnight in Seward.   

 

Day 6 - Seward/Anchorage

Meet local marine life up close with an included admission to the Alaska SeaLife Center this morning. Return north and make your way back to Anchorage this afternoon. Along the way, be sure to capture some souvenir photographs on the Seward Highway, a nationally recognized Scenic Byway. Overnight in Anchorage.

 

Day 7 - Anchorage

Your winter adventure comes to an end today. Or perhaps extend your visit to include a northern lights viewing tour or wilderness lodge stay!
