Itinerary/Details

Day 1: Anchorage Arrival

Arrive in Anchorage for a stay in Alaska's biggest metropolitan city, right in the heart of downtown.

 

Day 2: Anchorage to Denali Park Entrance

Continental breakfast is included this morning before you board Alaska Railroad's Denali Star and enjoy the scenic ride through the Mat-Su Valley and famed Alaskan wilderness arriving in Denali about 4 pm. Transfer to Denali Cabins where you will overnight in your own private cedar cabin. Rest of the evening is free for exploring the area.

 

Day 3: Denali Backcountry Touring

After an early morning Continental Breakfast, board a coach for the Denali Backcountry Adventure, the most complete day excursion into Denali National Park. Enjoy the stunning landscape, search for wildlife. Have a great buffet lunch at the exclusive Denali Backcountry Lodge and enjoy an afternoon activity. The return trip offers a different perspective and more opportunity for wildlife viewing. Overnight at Denali Cabins.

 

Day 4: Denali to Anchorage

After another complimentary Deluxe Continental Breakfast the rest of the day is free for optional activities such as Jet Boat Safari, Rafting Tour, or Flightseeing Tour. Departure for Anchorage by Motorcoach where the tour ends.
