Itinerary/Details

Accommodations:
Two types of cabins are available – authentic Yukon-style Cabin Tents and Log Cabins. Both offer charming indoor amenities, down-home comfort, and heaters to take away the early morning chill. Hot showers and flush toilets are located in a shared bathhouse a short distance from the cabins. Stays are limited to 16-18 guests to ensure your quiet lodge experience. A hydroelectric power system runs the water and electricity, offering a low-impact on the wilderness.

Activities:

During your stay, join a guided hike to alpine tundra to photograph wildflowers, take in dramatic views of snow-capped mountains, and seek out resident moose, bears, eagles and caribou. Explore the lake's many beaches and coves by motorboat with your guide. Or enjoy your stay at your leisure, reading historical articles about the lodge, strolling along the lakeshore, or walking the nature trail. If the lake is calm in the evening, some guests enjoy paddling in sturdy touring kayaks.
